Priestess/Bean Feasa of the Sacred Land
Training Programme

The Priestess Training Programme is designed as a women-only course.

It should go without saying but for clarity , women only includes our trans sisters.

This programme is a vocational training and requires commitment and dedication , and a willingness to examine and work through personal issues which inevitably arise as a result of this path.

Although based in Irish teachings , drawing on the Mythology of Ireland , using the native language and connecting with this Sacred Land , it is not exclusionary and is open to all women who feel called to this path.

Training as a Priestess/Bean Feasa of the Sacred Land is not about something you ‘do’ , it is about becoming a vessel of the Goddess energy , mediating that energy through your words, body and actions .

It is not learning ‘ about’ something , it becomes part of who you are .

Currently the training is available as an in person course requiring attendance at 12 monthly sessions in South Wexford and culminating in an Ordination ceremony on the 13th month, or as a hybrid course for overseas students with 12 months online and a required residential module in Ireland which will include the ordination ceremony.

During the month between classes , students will be required to complete written and experiential assignments and to read assigned Myths or relevant material.

Two levels of training are available

Year 2

Ministry/Celebrancy

This training is online requiring attendance at 12 monthly classes.

It is open to all Year 1 graduates and is designed for those who would like to minister to the community offering Rites of Passage ceremonies such as Handfasting , Baby naming and funeral ceremonies.

It will not confer legal celebrancy status, which is only relevant with regard to the registrar function of a celebrant officiating a Handfasting . Many couples do not wish for legal status or will be happy to do the legalisation part at the local registry office . However, should you be interested in legal status, it is advisable to join Pagan Federation Ireland or other umbrella body where you can apply for celebrancy status after a probationary period .

This programme will continue and deepen the work of year 1 .

There will be a focus on creating ceremony and holding space .

You will need confidence and competence in speaking publicly and in designing and writing a ceremony and in the ability to liaise with clients .

We will also be doing more soul journey work for self awareness and guidance .

You will develop confidence and delve deeper into Oracle work.
